Jacqueline Winspear is an English author of historical mysteries. She is best known for her Maisie Dobbs series, which takes place in post World War I Europe. Winspear began the series in 2003 with the book Maisie Dobbs, which was nominated for an Edgar Award and went on to win the Agatha Award for Best First Novel.
