Join Barnes & Noble - Union Squareon Tuesday, April 4 at 6 PM ET, as we celebrate the 20th Anniversary of The Pigeon and welcome #1 New York Times bestselling author and illustrator, Mo Willems - and the Pigeon - for a special event!

We'll be celebrating the 20th Anniversary of Mo's classic book, DON'T LET THE PIGEON DRIVE THE BUS! and Mo will be discussing his new book,BE THE BUS: The Lost & Profound Wisdom of The Pigeon, a must-have book for grown-up Pigeon fans!

In BE THE BUS, Mo Willems shares wit and wisdom from The Pigeon in this one-of-a-kind humor book for adults. Perfect for children of any age (even the child-at-heart), BE THE BUS is classic Mo Willems at his best.

The Barnes & Noble Exclusive Edition of BE THE BUS features an original Pigeon patch to commemorate this occasion!

Barnes & Noble reserves the right to make new rules and orders in its sole discretion with regard to COVID-19 at any time and any person not abiding by the Barnes & Noble directives will be refused entrance or directed to leave the premises.

Book Admission - $ 17.46 (Admission + one pre-signed copy of the B&N Exclusive edition of BE THE BUS+ 5-cent bag fee): **LIMITED QUANTITY AVAILABLE**: A ticket PER PERSON includes:

One PRE-SIGNED copy of the B&N Exclusive edition of BE THE BUS.

Admission to the event space with Mo Willems.

$5 Gift Card Admission - $5.00 (Admission + one $5 B&N Gift Card): **LIMITED QUANTITY AVAILABLE**: A ticket PER PERSON includes:

One $5 B&N Gift Card.

Admission to the event space with Mo Willems.

**Please note: Everyone must have a ticket to enter the event place, so each person attending in a family or group will need a ticket (either the Book Admission ticket or the $5 ticket). Children under 3 may sit on a parent lap.

There will not be a live signing at this event. All books by Mo Willems will be pre-signed.

The Pigeon will be available for photos after Mo's presentation!

Signed copies of Mo's backlist will be available for purchase at the store including the

20th Anniversary edition of DON'T LET THE PIGEON DRIVE THE BUS!

GUIDELINES

No large bags will be permitted into the event.

Due to health and safety and space limitations, those without a ticket will not be permitted into the event space.

Due to Covid-19, masks are highly recommended.

Ticket holders will be admitted into the event beginning at 5:30 PM the day of the event. Please have a copy of your ticket available (either printed out or on your phone) for check in. Please arrive by 6 PM ET in order to secure your seat in the event space. Late arrivals may only have access to standing room.

In order to attend this event, ticket holders should:

Have not had any contact in the last 14 days with a confirmed COVID- 19 patient.

Not be subject to a quarantine order.

Not traveled in the past 14 days to any state or country that New York has designated as an area requiring isolation upon returning to the state.

At the time of the event, have not experienced in the last 72 hours any body temperature above 100 degrees Fahrenheit or any new symptoms associated with COVID-19. People with COVID-19 have had a wide range of symptoms reported – ranging from mild symptoms to severe illness. Symptoms may appear 2-14 days after exposure to the virus. People with these symptoms may have COVID-19: fever or chills; cough; shortness of breath or difficulty breathing; fatigue; muscle or body aches; headache; new loss of taste or smell; sore throat; congestion or runny nose; nausea or vomiting; and/or diarrhea..

Due to health and safety and space limitations, those without a ticket will not be permitted into the event space.

REFUNDS

Attendees can receive refunds up to 1 day (24 hours) before your event start time.

If you are unable to attend the event, Barnes & Noble - Union Square will hold your book or gift card for seven days after the event. Please contact the store to arrange your pickup.

Should this event be canceled due to changing COVID-19 concerns, all customers will be refunded their ticket price to the original method of payment per Eventbrite's refund policy.
