Join Barnes & Noble - Fifth Ave on Friday, October 6th at 1:00 PM ET, as we welcome musician and visual artist, DPR Ian, for a signing to celebrate the release of DEAR INSANITY.... The LA-based visual artist blurs the lines of Pop, R&B, rock, and electronica to convey an atmospheric exploration of self-reflection and spirituality.

To make this event safe and enjoyable for all attendees, please read the below guidelines ahead of buying a ticket, so you know what to expect on the day. To avoid disappointment, we must stress that there will be no access to the event for non-ticketholders.

Barnes & Noble reserves the right to make new rules and orders in its sole discretion with regard to COVID-19 at any time and any person not abiding by the Barnes & Noble directives will be refused entrance or directed to leave the premises.

TICKETING INFORMATION

CD Signing Line Admission - $19.59: **LIMITED QUANTITY AVAILABLE**: A ticket PER PERSON includes:

One signed copy of the CD edition of DEAR INSANITY...

Admission into the signing line with DPR Ian

Due to health and safety and space limitations, those without a ticket will not be permitted into the event space.

This is a signing event. The musician will autograph and personalize the purchased CD.

No memorabilia will be signed.

Masks are strongly recommended if you are not vaccinated.

Any gifts for DPR Ian will be collected prior to the signing line.

Photos will not be permitted.

GUIDELINES

No large bags will be permitted into the event.

Ticket holders will be admitted into the event beginning at 12:00 PM the day of the event. Please have a copy of your ticket available (either printed out or on your phone) for check in.

In order to attend this event, ticket holders should:

Have not had any contact in the last 14 days with a confirmed COVID- 19 patient.

Not be subject to a quarantine order.

Not traveled in the past 14 days to any state or country that New York has designated as an area requiring isolation upon returning to the state.

At the time of the event, have not experienced in the last 72 hours any body temperature above 100 degrees Fahrenheit or any new symptoms associated with COVID-19. People with COVID-19 have had a wide range of symptoms reported – ranging from mild symptoms to severe illness. Symptoms may appear 2-14 days after exposure to the virus. People with these symptoms may have COVID-19: fever or chills; cough; shortness of breath or difficulty breathing; fatigue; muscle or body aches; headache; new loss of taste or smell; sore throat; congestion or runny nose; nausea or vomiting; and/or diarrhea.

Due to health and safety and space limitations, those without a ticket will not be permitted into the event space.

Some outside queuing may be required, so please do come dressed appropriately for all weathers.

The exact time at which the event ends will be determined on the day. To avoid disappointment, we strongly advise you to arrive on time for the event. Late arrivals may not have the opportunity to meet the musician.

Please note that Eventbrite is the only authorized dealer for this event. Each person must have a ticket to enter.

REFUNDS

Attendees can receive refunds up to 1 day (24 hours) before your event start time.

If you are unable to attend the event, Barnes & Noble - Fifth Ave will hold your Vinyl and/or CD for seven days after the event. Please contact the store to arrange your pickup.

Should this event be canceled due to changing COVID-19 concerns, all customers will be refunded their ticket price to the original method of payment per Eventbrite's refund policy.

ABOUT DEAR INSANITY...:

Before MITO, there was Insanity. The “Dear Insanity…” EP is the prequel story to MITO’s creator, Mr. Insanity.This EP follows IAN on his journey to and throughout the dreamlike realm known as The Other Side. As he traverses through The Other Side, IAN slowly begins to lose his sanity bit by bit, thus becoming Mr. Insanity at the story’s climax.

ABOUT DPR Ian:

DPR IAN makes music you can see and feel, constructing his own audiovisual language to communicate things for which there are no words. With his debut studio album, Moodswings In To Order, released July 29, 2022 alongside a short film he directed and edited, the LA-based visual artist blurs the lines of Pop, R&B, rock, and electronica to convey an atmospheric exploration of self-reflection and spirituality, as seen through the eyes of his misunderstood alter ego MITO. Christian Yu began composing and creating under the alias DPR IAN in late 2015 as one of the founding members of creative collective DPR ("Dream Perfect Regime") in Seoul, South Korea. The collective creates, directs, produces, and edits all types of multimedia projects for its diverse roster of talent, with DPR IAN serving as its chief director and editor. Known for his sharp artistic vision and tedious attention to detail, DPR IAN has emerged as a solo artist whose work exists in the liminal space between light and shadow
