About this Event

MAX BRALLIER is the #1 New York Times, USA Today, and Wall Street Journal bestselling author of more than fifty books, including the middle-grade series The Last Kids on Earth.

Under the pen name Jack Chabert, Max is the creator and author of the Eerie Elementary series for Scholastic Books and author of the New York Times bestselling graphic novel Poptropica: Mystery of the Map.  

He is the creator and writer of Galactic Hot Dogs, a goofy middle-grade adventure series, and has written books for properties including LEGO, Adventure Time, Regular Show, Steven Universe, and Uncle GrandpaMax has written for adults, including the pick-your-own-path series Can YOU Survive the Zombie Apocalypse? and an entry in the zombie anthology Nights of the Living Dead

In the olden days, Max was a game designer for the virtual world Poptropica and worked in marketing at St. Martin's Press. Max lives in Los Angeles with his wife and daughter.

Special Instructions

-Reserve and purchase a copy of Last Comics on Earth: Too Many Villians! from the Frisco location. Call (972-668-2820) or stop by in-store between now and Monday April 29th to reserve your copy. *You will not pay for the book at time of reservation, you will pay on the release date of Tuesday April 30th. 

-Beginning on Tuesday April 2nd at 10am, come in-store and purchase your reserved copy. At the time of purchase, you will receive your signing line wristband. The signing line wristband and your book purchase are both required to attend the event.

* You can reserve or place a book on hold though the day of the event.

 -On the day of the event, Sunday April 28th, we will have an event check-in table (located at the upstairs mall entrance) beginning at 1:00pm.

***You will only need to check in if you wish to participate in the discussion. This is where you will get your additional wristband if you wish to participate in the Discussion plus Q&A. ***

*There will be a limited number of seats available for the discussion. Seating is first come first serve on the day of the event. The additional wristband is not required for the signing line, it is required if you’d like to attend the discussion plus Q&A.

-Guests should be seated by 1:45pm to avoid losing their seats. Seating will stop at 1:50pm.

Additional FAQ

-You only need to check-in if you wish to be in the discussion space.

 -Only one guardian/parent plus child with a wristband and a copy of Last Comics on Earth: Too Many Villians!will be allowed in the event space, additional family may wait in the Café or wander about the store/mall till discussion is over.

-Discussion last about 45 minutes, signing line should began around 3:00pm

-Once our discussion ends, we will have a short intermission where you can use the bathroom or make additional purchases.

-We will call over head for each group starting with A. We ask for your patience as we get though the line.

-Family may join in the signing line.
