Barnes & Noble is happy to have local author Roxanne Bocyck here to sign copies of her historical fiction novel Catherine's Dream: A Story of Spirit and Courage. The book is based on a true story about the author's grandmother who came to America from Poland in 1921 where an unexpected twist of fate will change her life forever. The book features Eastern European history, heritage and traditions and offers a glimpse of American immigration through Ellis Island. The story unfolds in Poland, the foothills of the Adirondack Mountains, and in Syracuse, NY. This is her debut novel.
