Book Panel Discussion & Signing Featuring: Jo Piazza, Jennifer Herrera, Michael Deagler, Elise Juska, and Ashton Lattimore
About this Event
Please join us on Friday, May 10th for a incredibly special event. Our evening will begin with a book panel discussion, including audience Q&A, featuring authors Jo Piazza, Jennifer Herrera, Michael Deagler, Elise Juska, and Ashton Lattimore as they discuss their latest releases followed by an opportunity to meet the authors themselves for a signing of their books.
Jo Piazza, The Sicilian Inheritance (Available 4/2/2024): From bestselling author and award-winning journalist Jo Piazza, comes a transporting novel rooted in the author’s own family history about a long-awaited trip to Sicily, a disputed inheritance, and a family secret that some will kill to protect . . .
Jennifer Herrera, The Hunter (Available Now): A riveting atmospheric suspense debut that explores the dark side of a small town . . . Perfect for fans of Mare of Easttown, this taut debut is a haunting look at how the search for truth often leads back to the most unlikely of places.
Michael Deagler, Early Sobrieties (Available 5/7/2024): Like a sober, millennial Jesus’ Son, Michael Deagler’s debut novel is the poignant confession of a recovering addict adrift in the fragmenting landscape of America’s middle class. Shot through with humor, hubris, and hard-earned insight, Early Sobrieties charts the limbos that exist between our better and worst selves, offering a portrait of a stifled generation collectively slouching towards grace.
Elise Juska, Reunion (Available 5/7/2024): From the beloved author of the “uniquely poignant” (Entertainment Weekly) novel The Blessings comes a gripping story about three friends in their forties forced to reckon with their lives during a college reunion in coastal Maine. Beautifully observed and insightful, Reunion is a page-turning novel about the highs and lows of friendship from a writer at the height of her powers.
Ashton Lattimore, All We Were Promised (Available 4/2/2024): A housemaid with a dangerous family secret conspires with a wealthy young abolitionist to help an enslaved girl escape, in volatile pre-Civil War Philadelphia. The rebel . . . the socialite . . . and the fugitive. Together, they will risk everything for one another in this "buguiling story of friendship, deception, and women crossing boundaries in the name of freedom." (Lisa Wingate, #1 New York Times bestselling author of The Book of Lost Friends.)
We are beyond excited to be hosting this sure-to-be amazing night, and cannot wait to see everyone there!
