Join us for a joint conversation between authors L.S. Stratton and Margot Douaihy on Thursday, June 13th at 7PM, ET, in celebration of Stratton's new book, Do What Godmother Says.
L.S. Stratton is an NAACP Image Award-nominated author and former crime newspaper reporter who has written more than a dozen books under different pen names in just about every genre from thrillers to romance to historical fiction. She currently lives in Maryland with her husband, their daughter, and their tuxedo cat.
Margot Douaihy, PhD, is the author of the hardboiled mysteries Blessed Water (2024) and Scorched Grace (2023), both published with Gillian Flynn Books. Scorched Grace was a USA Today National Bestseller, an Indie Next pick, named a Best Book of 2023 by The New York Times, The Guardian, Barnes & Noble, and CrimeReads, and the winner of the Pinckley Prize in Crime Fiction for best debut mystery. Margot is an assistant professor with Emerson College, and she serves as a co-editor of the Cambridge University Press "Elements in Crime Narratives Series.” She is a member of Sisters in Crime, Queer Crime Writers, and the Radius of Arab American Writers.
