K.A. Cobell discusses and signs LOOKING FOR SMOKE with Cherie Priest

Join us on Friday, June 7, at 6PM in welcoming author K.A. Cobell as she discusses and signs her debut novel LOOKING FOR SMOKE, a young adult thriller perfect for fans of Karen McManus and Angeline Boulley! K.A. Cobell will be in conversation with local author Cherie Priest. 

HOW TO ATTEND

A ticket is required to attend this event. To make this event safe and enjoyable for all attendees, please read the below guidelines before RSVP'ing on Ticketleap, so you know what to expect on the day. 

The discussion is free to join! Attendees who wish to enter the signing following the discussion to meet the authors, take photos, and get books signed must purchase a copy of LOOKING FOR SMOKE at Barnes & Noble Northgate. When you arrive at the event, please head toward check-in to show your ticket confirmation to a bookseller. If you have purchased LOOKING FOR SMOKE, you will be given a wristband, which will allow you entry into the singing.

Seating is first come first serve, and standing room will be provided. If you require assistance, please let us know! We are happy to accommodate you. Parking at Northgate Station is plentiful and free for up to three hours. 

GUIDELINES

• Ticket holders will be admitted into the event space beginning at 5PM the day of the event. The event space will be closed before this time and seating may not be reserved until then. Please have a copy of your ticket available (either printed out or on your phone) for check-in. 
• K.A. Cobell will sign and personalize copies of LOOKING FOR SMOKE as well as pose for photos. A Barnes & Noble bookseller will be on hand to take your photo.
• Cherie Priest will sign and personalize copies of her books as well as pose for photos. A Barnes & Noble bookseller will be on hand to take your photo.
• Seating is first come first serve, and standing room will be provided. If you require assistance, please let us know! We are happy to accommodate you.
• Barnes & Noble reserves the right to make new rules and orders in its sole discretion with regard to COVID-19 at any time and any person not abiding by the Barnes & Noble directives will be refused entrance or directed to leave the premises.

ABOUT LOOKING FOR SMOKE

When local girl Loren includes Mara in a traditional Blackfeet Giveaway to honor Loren’s missing sister, Mara thinks she’ll finally make some friends on the Blackfeet reservation.

Instead, a girl from the Giveaway, Samantha White Tail, is found murdered.

Because the four members of the Giveaway group were the last to see Samantha alive, each becomes a person of interest in the investigation. And all of them—Mara, Loren, Brody, and Eli—have a complicated history with Samantha.

Despite deep mistrust, the four must now take matters into their own hands and clear their names. Even though one of them may be the murderer.
