Liz Moore and Emma Copley Eisenberg
About this Event
Please join us on Tuesday, September 24, at 7:00pm when we have the absolute honor of hosting authors Liz Moore and Emma Copley Eisenberg as they discuss their new books - The God of the Woods: A Novel and Housemates: A Novel.
Liz Moore, the author of the New York Times bestselling novel Long Bright River, which was a Good Morning America Book Club Pick and one of Barack Obama's favorite books of the year . . . returns with The God of the Woods: A Novel, an immersive, propulsive novel about a missing child whose disappearance sends equal shockwaves through three very different worlds - and opulent Adirondack sumemr estate, the rustic teen summer camp that oeprates in its shadow, and the blue collar community the serves them both.
Emma Copley Eisenberg is a queer writer or fiction and nonfiction. Her first book, The Third Rainbow Girl: The Long Life of a Double Murder in Appalachia, was named a New York Times Notable Book, and was nominated for an Edgar Award . . . In Housemates two young housemates embark on a road trip to discover themselves in a fractured America in this sparkling novel of love, friendship and chosen family . . . a warm insightful coming-of-age story of youth and freedom, a glorious celebration of queer life, and how art and love might save us all.
We simply can't wait for what is sure to be an evening to remember!
