To make this event safe and enjoyable for everyone, please read the following FAQ before signing up for the event.

WILL REBECCA YARROS BE THERE?

Sadly, no. This is a fan event, and Rebecca Yarros will NOT be in attendance.

HOW MUCH DOES IT COST?

This event is completely FREE with the in-store preorder of ONYX STORM Deluxe Limited Edition (List Price $32.99).

HOW DO I SIGN UP?

To register for the event, visit us at Barnes & Noble Hamilton Place. A bookseller will help you purchase and pre-order your copy of the book, as well as join the event guest list.

CAN ANYONE ATTEND?

To avoid disappointment, we must stress that this is a PRIVATE EVENT, and you will need to register in order to attend. For everyone’s safety, people who are not on the guest list will NOT be permitted into the store during the time of the event.

WHAT ABOUT MINORS?

The Empyrean series contains mature content, so please use discretion. Children should not attend. Older teens may attend, but per Hamilton Place Mall guidelines, they MUST be accompanied by a guardian at all times on the mall premises. Please speak with a bookseller to make special arrangements for any minors who wish to attend.

WILL I BE ABLE TO BUY REBECCA YARROS’S OTHER BOOKS DURING THE EVENT?

Yes! While our supplies last, you will be able to purchase copies of Rebecca Yarros’s other books during the event, as well as FOURTH WING merch.

WILL B&N CAFÉ BE OPEN DURING THE EVENT?

No, our café will be closed during the event, but we will be providing free snacks and drinks for attendees.

WHAT IF I SIGN UP, BUT THEN I CAN’T ATTEND THE EVENT?

If you are unable to attend the event, Barnes & Noble Hamilton Place will hold your book for seven days after the event. Please contact the store to arrange your pickup.

WHAT ELSE DO I NEED TO KNOW?

Some outside queuing will be needed before doors open at 10:00 PM. Please dress appropriately for the January weather. In addition, please be mindful of any personal belongings you bring with you, as there will not be a place to store them. No large bags will be permitted into the event.
