We are so excited to have Peter Orullian in our store for his new book, in collaboration with Brandon Sanderson, Songs of the Dead.

He will be talking with Robin Hobb and Terry Brooks about his newest book, and then all three authors will sit down for a signing.

A TicketLeap reservation and a purchase of Songs of Death will be required to receive your wristband to attend the discussion. You will also be the first in line for the signing that will follow the discussion.
Wristbands for the discussion will be available for pick-up starting at 5:00 pm on Friday, 6/19
A purchase of Songs of Death will be required to attend the signing, even if you do not attend the discussion.
Books will be available for purchase, the day of the event, Friday 6/19.

Songs of the Dead:

When Jack Solomon, a struggling musician who works in London's West End, is killed, he awakens to a new reality in which light and music are used to create magic and where living eras of the past sprawl beneath modern London, layer upon layer, all the way back to recorded history.

Jack also soon discovers that many of those who reside in the stratums of London's past have frown angry with the present world, and that their anger is being channeled by a powerful society of light-and-music-based magic wielders who can cross the realms between life and death, between the present and the past. A past where the dead are sowing revolution against the living, and all of history is at stake.

Author Bios:

Peter Orullian:

Peter is a fantasy author and musician based in the Pacific Northwest. He graduated Magna Cum Laude with an Honors B.A. in English, with a writing emphasis. He was inducted into the Phi Beta Kappa and Phi Kappa Phi National Honor Societies. Peter sold his first short story to a Denise Little anthology and has since sold numerous short stories. A few years after that, Tor Books (MacMillan) purchased the first three books in an epic fantasy series entitled, The Vault of Heaven. In 2019, Peter announced on his website that he and Brandon Sanderson were collaborating on a new series. At the beginning of 2026, Peter announced that their trilogy The Strata Wars, would be releasing in June 2026.

Robin Hobb:

Robin Hobb is a fantasy novelist, best known for the four connected trilogies and a tetrology that make up The Realm of the Elderlings. The tale began with Assassin's Apprentice, the opening book for the Farseer Trilogy, and concluded in 2017 with Assassin's Fate, the final volume of The Fitz and the Fool Trilogy. Robin Hobb has been the recipient of several awards, including Comic-Con International's the Inkpot Award in 2017 and the World Fantasy Lifetime Achievement Award in 2017.

Robin Hobb lives in rural Washington State on fourteen rather soggy acres with her husband Fred Ogden, a retired marine engineer.
