tool to grapple with the thorny issue of race in both society and the

She has published over twenty-five articles, and has produced two documentaries.

Minnesota, in the 1960s. He attended Saint Peter&rsquo;s Catholic School and 
Holy Angels High School. After 2 years at the University of Minnesota in
 the Twin Cities, he transferred to the University of Wisconsin&ndash;Madison 
and earned his B.S. degree in Meteorology in 1979. Shortly afterward, he
 was hired as a broadcast meteorologist at WCCO Radio. He retired in 
2020 after a 40-year career. Mike has covered all kinds of weather, from
 deadly tornadoes to record cold snaps. In fact, on February 2, 1996, he
 broadcasted from Tower, Minnesota, when the temperature dropped to 60 
degrees below zero, an all-time record low for the state of Minnesota.Since
 he was a teenager, Mike&rsquo;s other passion has been astronomy. He built 
his first telescope when he was 15 years old. For over 50 years, Mike 
has been teaching classes and hosting star parties with community 
education groups, nature centers, and other entities throughout 
Minnesota and Western Wisconsin. His goal is to help people make the

Stars: A Month-by-Month Tour of the Constellations

Newsman Boston Meade interviews ex-forest ranger Leif Nielsen who wants 
his farmstead on Tarn Lake to remain in its natural state. His brother, 
Harald, a doctor, and his political wife, Regina, tell Boston the farm 
has great development potential. They draft a will for Leif's signature 
while he is hospitalized, but Leif discovers the draft gives Harald 
power of attorney. His sanity is questioned, and blood will ensue!Newell Searle grew up on a southern Minnesota farm, and his writing 
includes a variety of pieces on Minnesota's history, culture and natural
 environment. Copy Desk Murders was his first novel in a mystery series 
set in southern Minnesota during the 1980s farm crisis, a period when he
 worked in agricultural organizations. After a vocational school 
education, he received a B.A. from Macalester College. His first book, 
Saving Quetico-Superior, was an award-winning narrative of wilderness 
protection. He continued writing while working as a public affairs 
professional in corporate, government and nonprofit organizations. Now 
he writes wherever he is, at his home in Minnetonka, volunteering in 
Mexico or at a forest cabin north of Lake Superior.

Leif's Legacy

Kinkade wants what every other teenage boy wants: a girlfriend and a successful rock band but that's not as easy as it sounds. After

 trans boy Kinkade is quickly knocked back down to earth when his crush 
rejects him, and the whole school sees him in the dress his mother 
forced him to wear for a family photo. So, when the new girl Madi 
assumes he is cis and asks him out, he accepts without correcting her. After
 years of being ignored by his old crush and bullied by other boys, 
Kinkade just wants to convince Madi that he&rsquo;s a regular guy&rsquo;s guy. To 
impress her and finally win the approval of his peers, Kinkade agrees to
 his best friend Libby&rsquo;s suggestion that they enter a competition to 
become the band for prom despite his misgivings. In between band 
practice, weightlifting, and dates, Kinkade accidentally becomes an 
animal shelter volunteer under an assumed name&mdash;and it&rsquo;s there among the 
unconditional acceptance of dogs that he finally receives the 
affirmation he&rsquo;s been longing for. But it&rsquo;s going to be harder than he thought to play the show, get the girl, and become the man he&rsquo;s meant to be.M. E. Corey is a guitar player, high school teacher, and
