Author Conversation and Book Signing with Michael J. Burgess

Join us on Saturday, May 4 at 2:00 pm for an author conversation and book signing by Michael J. Burgess, former Director of the NYS Office for the Aging.  Burgess will discuss his recent book, Franklin and Eleanor Roosevelt in Albany: Governing New York, with William A. Herbert of the Public Policy Institute at Hunter College.  Franklin and Eleanor Roosevelt in Albany is the story of Franklin and Eleanor Roosevelt when FDR was governor of New York during the Great Depression and takes a look at the public policy programs that put government on the side of the people.
