Join Barnes & Noble - Union Square on Wednesday, April 10th at 6PM as we welcome Grammy Award-winning musician Maren Morris and former school teacher Karina Argow to discuss ADDIE ANT GOES ON AN ADVENTURE. Follow along as Addie begins a journey for indepence in a vast, colorful garden.

To make this event safe and enjoyable for all attendees, please read the below guidelines ahead of buying a ticket, so you know what to expect on the day. To avoid disappointment, we must stress that there will be no access to the event for non-ticketholders.

Barnes & Noble reserves the right to make new rules and orders in its sole discretion with regard to COVID-19 at any time and any person not abiding by the Barnes & Noble directives will be refused entrance or directed to leave the premises.

TICKETING INFORMATION

Solo Book Admission - $20.73 (Admission + one copy of ADDIE ANT GOES ON AN ADVENTURE + 5-cent bag fee): **LIMITED QUANTITY AVAILABLE**: A ticket PER PERSON includes:

• One copy of ADDIE ANT GOES ON AN ADVENTURE.
• Admission to the photo op & signing line with Maren Morris & Karina Argow for one person.

Adult & Child Book Admission - $20.73 (Admission for one adult & one child under 12 + one copy of ADDIE ANT GOES ON AN ADVENTURE + 5-cent bag fee): **LIMITED QUANTITY AVAILABLE**: A ticket PER PERSON includes:

• One copy of ADDIE ANT GOES ON AN ADVENTURE.
• Admission for one adult and one child under 12 to the photo op & signing line with Maren Morris & Karina Argow.

Photos with the Maren & Karina will be allowed at the event. B&N staff will take photos for attendees.

Maren & Karina will sign (signature only) copies of ADDIE ANT GOES ON AN ADVENTURE.

Due to Covid-19, masks are strongly recommended.

Any gifts for the authors will be collected prior to the signing line.

Due to health and safety and space limitations, those without a ticket will not be permitted into the event space.

Please arrive by 6PM in order to secure your place in the signing line. Late arrivals may not have the opportunity to meet the authors.

GUIDELINES

No memorabilia will be signed at this event.

No large bags will be permitted into the event.

Ticket holders will be admitted into the event beginning at 5:30PM the day of the event. Please have a copy of your ticket available (either printed out or on your phone) for check in.

In order to attend this event, ticket holders should:

• Have not had any contact in the last 14 days with a confirmed COVID-19 patient.
• Not be subject to a quarantine order.
• Not traveled in the past 14 days to any state or country that New York has designated as an area requiring isolation upon returning to the state.
• At the time of the event, have not experienced in the last 72 hours any body temperature above 100 degrees Fahrenheit or any new symptoms associated with COVID-19. People with COVID-19 have had a wide range of symptoms reported – ranging from mild symptoms to severe illness. Symptoms may appear 2-14 days after exposure to the virus. People with these symptoms may have COVID-19: fever or chills; cough; shortness of breath or difficulty breathing; fatigue; muscle or body aches; headache; new loss of taste or smell; sore throat; congestion or runny nose; nausea or vomiting; and/or diarrhea.

Due to health and safety and space limitations, those without a ticket will not be permitted into the event space.

REFUNDS

Attendees can receive refunds up to 24 hours before your event start time.

If you are unable to attend the event, Barnes & Noble - Union Square will hold your book for seven days after the event. Please contact the store to arrange your pickup.

Should this event be canceled due to changing COVID-19 concerns, all customers will be refunded their ticket price to the original method of payment per Eventbrite's refund policy.

Addie Ant travels from one garden bed to another on her first solo adventure. As she forges her own path, she gets lost along the way and finds help from her trusted garden pals, Lewis Ladybug, Beatrix Butterfly, and Cleo Cricket, in finding her way back home.

A celebration of friendship, this sweet book is a collaboration by renowned, musical artist Maren Morris and former schoolteacher and close friend Karina Argow. Artist Kelly Anne Dalton brings the delightfully written characters to life with colorful and charming illustrations.

ABOUT THE AUTHORS:

Maren Morris is a celebrated singer-songwriter, CEO, and Texan. She is the recipient of many top music awards including five Country Music Association Awards, five Academy of Country Music Awards, and one Grammy Award. She has had several Billboard hit singles at the top of the charts including “My Church” and “The Bones” to name just a few. Her crossover, international hit “The Middle” is officially six times Platinum-certified. Additionally, Morris is a leading voice in country music for change and equality in the music industry. She and her son, Hayes, reside in Nashville, Tennessee.

Karina Argow is a former high school English teacher and department chairperson. Her love of teaching and writing, coupled with her passion for gardening, inspired her to collaborate with close friend Maren Morris on their first children’s book. Karina lives in Nashville, Tennessee with her partner, Jonathan, and can be found most days wandering through her garden beds talking to the bugs that buzz around them.
