Wendy Ribeiro moved to Brazil with her husband and her two children, ages fifteen and ten. Eight years later, she returned to America, divorced.  Wendy’s experiences in the rural community of Catuji, inspired her to write the novel, Killing the Jackass.  She lives in Framingham Massachusetts with her new husband, Arlete.
