Les was born and raised in Idaho. After graduating high school, he moved to Washington State. He is now retired and still lives there today. A young Cody Walden wants to fulfill his dream of riding a bucking bull in a rodeo. With the help of his new girlfriend, Luci Ann, whom he falls in love with. They begin their journey together, buy a ranch, and have two daughters. Their journey has its bumps and scrapes along the way. Cody tries to run their ranch and work at the saw mill and raise his family.
