Meet Scott Reister, local sports newscaster. He'll be here on May 11th to celebrate the release of his first book, Baseball Spy, a young reader's novel with a short presentation followed by a book signing and photo op.

About the Author

In high school, Scott attempted to dunk a basketball and wound up breaking both of his wrists. That was the moment Scott realized a pro contract was not in his future. So he did the next best thing and started a career reporting on the sports he loved. (And now writing about them!)

Scott enjoys spending time with his wife, daughter and sons. In his free time (yeah right!), he enjoys playing basketball and avoiding freak injuries.
